Description: A wonderful 11″ tall California Pottery Rooster Bird Figurine by Hildred Reents, who was a studio potter in the important Padua Hills pottery community area of Claremont, CA. Modernist depiction of a rooster with gray speckled glaze. I’m uncertain if this is one of the figurines modeled for or later used by Roselane. Signed on bottom as “Hildred”. Condition: In good vintage condition with no cracks or large damage. There are two shallow chip flakes on the bottom of the foot, see photos. Some other nicking and perhaps paint touchups on the side near tail, and some roughness to the wing tips.
