Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Corythocrinus insculptus (Rare) Mississippian Age, Edwardsville Formation Indian Creek, Crawfordsville, Indiana Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a rare crinoid from the Mississippian Edwardsville formation of Crawfordsville, Indiana. It measures 1.25 inches by 3.5 inches. The matrix measures 3.5 by 4.25 inches at the widest points and is approx. 3/4 inch at the thickest point and ¼ inch at the thinnest point. As seen in the second photo, epoxy glue was used to join two broken parts (the matrix came out in three sections). There is very noticeable epoxy showing on the break containing the arms. Also, there is some misalignment of the arms where the two parts were joined. Please examine each photo for the condition and message me through eBay with any questions before purchasing. Any restoration will be explained in the description and highlighted in the photos. Almost all fossils prepared for sale or collections have some type of restoration. I fully disclose any restoration of the fossils I offer. The restorations are not meant to mislead or deceive the buyer in any way.
