MESSAGE ME! ~~ WHEEL COVER SET RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels = Excellent (A), Near Excellent (A/A-), Very Good (A-), Pretty Good (A–). Grade B levels = Driver Grade Pretty Good (B++), Driver Grade Good Shape (B+), Average Condition (B), Fair/Poor but Usable Condition (B-, C+, C). All “B” & “C” Grades will have more visible damage than any “A” Grade. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal and the overall perceptive appearance, not paint (if applicable). This auction item’s average grade is highlighted in BLUE on this scale. APPLICATION: This set will fit all 1967-78 Eldorados with the factory FWD 15″ steel rims. This wheel cover design is considered the sportiest one ever offered by Cadillac. QUANTITY & GRADE: This listing is for FOUR wheel cover in Grade “A/A-” condition, per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered “NEAR EXCELLENT”. Wheel covers in this Grade Range have great visual appeal with typically a very minor blemish or two (essentially light wear & tear). Many high resolution close-up pictures are shown in ALL Caddypartz listings~! ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for FOUR wheel covers. The set is (overall average) in the Near Excellent “A/A-” grade zone (three of the wheel covers are “A/A-“, and the 4th is “A-“). These are among the best available. Visually they are highly presentable looking, even close-up. Each may have a tiny issue or two (faint hammer ding, light scratches, stone ding, etc), but that’s about all — NO heavy damages to the Center Faces (which you mostly see). I do not consider them to be “Excellent” but just a mere half step below that. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Regarding damage – Each one will vary a bit but roughly they are in the same zone of “well above average” overall grading. Each may have a tiny issue or two (faint hammer ding, light scratches, stone ding, etc), but that’s about all — NO heavy damages to the main Center Faces. As a general rule, damage will be faint and possibly so small that you often cannot see it in the pictures. All 4 of them shine beautifully, and each one has a good looking (colors-restored) OEM Cadillac crest. This set definitely has elegant appeal! Your Eldorado is a classy car, and deserves wheel covers that enhance that late 1960’s-1970’s Cadillac Swag essence….this set will do that fine. Despite being 50++ years old, these stunning wheel covers still have plenty of miles left on them. The mounting tabs are in Excellent condition as well. As for the silverish paint, I will call that “Near Excellent” Condition. The paint is generally very even across the whole wheel cover, no rub wear/thin spots standing out as “obvious”, despite the paint being thin to begin with. No major staining (common) seen, but there are some minor/faint stains noted. Those possibly can be removed with gentle cleaning (the factory paint was not very thick). Each wheel cover was disassembled (crest removed), tab adjustments made, deep cleaned and gently hand polished. It now has an OEM fully color-restored Crest, which looks bold and beautiful (as it should!). It’s a very good looking group of 50++ year Old Survivors~! Overall this vintage Eldorado wheel cover set is a short notch below “Excellent” but it still gives off premium visuals. PHOTO NOTES: Most pics taken on a cloudless Sunny afternoon in tree-shaded light. Caddypartz wheel cover pictures are the best on eBay (High resolution in the best of lighting – – no blurry, shadowy, ambiguous or out-of-focus photos)~! Each wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc….. A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Keep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo…just the original factory ones.** NOTE: These are old-school wheel covers! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get them to fit perfect on your steel wheels….especially if you have balancing weights. These wheel covers will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15″ steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
