It takes a slotted rectangular wood rod 5/8 inch wide that is not included. The screw on the back is loosened and retightened to adjust the length of the pendulum.Contact me before bidding for special orders. See my other listings for many different parts that will go with these parts.I received the following message from someone knowledgeable about this bob.Dear dragonslayer….knowledge is power…so I’m sharing my knowledge..It doesn’t hurt… what your selling is a bob for an Ithaca Weight driven Grandfather Clock made by New Haven Clock Co. It should NOT have a wood screw but a steel slotted roundhead machine bolt. If you check the hole, it’s threaded. It’s NOT used to tighten down on the pendulum stick but used as a guide to slide the bob up and down. The threaded rod at the end of the pendulum stick where the rating nut is attached holds the bob…If the bob had a stem with a rounded ball top presses into the casting, it’s for a New Haven grandfather.Note that this bob does not have a screw. It has a machine bolt that cannot be tightened down on the pendulum rod. This bolt may be a replacement.SHIPPINGIf you accept low cost shipping without insurance, you accept the entire risk.
