Cloud Dragon Painted by Federico Genovese Sculpt by Tom Meier Federico’s Cloud Dragon began life as the Ral Partha figure “Forest Dragon” (01-146) from the company’s Personalities and Things that go Bump in the Night range. This is a custom piece created by award-winning artist Federico Genovese. It is a metal figure. The piece is painted to display standard, featuring vibrant colors and smooth blending, and based on a cumulus cloud. The figure is suitable for display or gaming excellence in AD&D and Pathfinder scenarios, or to add to your collection of well-painted vintage dragons. Federico had this to say about his creation: “I was always fond of this sculpt and a patron once told me he would like to see it done up as a Cloud Dragon so I took his advice. Cloud Dragons are rare and powerful lords of the air. Much like their distant cousins the Wind Dragons, Cloud Dragons are the colors of the sky. Cloud Dragons tend to be more bluish then Winds and their beautiful wings look like a sunset. Cloud Dragons are very reclusive. They are particularly wise, and good-hearted. Some heroes know them as luck dragons as they have a tendency to swoop down from their lairs and rescue adventures in distress.” About the artist: Federico started painting miniatures around 1995, but soon ventured into sculpting. He has sculpted for Blood Moon Miniatures, Center Stage Miniatures, and Dark Sword Miniatures. He won the Second Sculpting Event competition in 2008 hosted by Newbold Challenge.
