G-Core Shaft info: The new G-Core Shaft Technology significantly stabilizes the shaft through the use of a three layered core positioned in the front impact area of the shaft. G-Core Technology increases shaft stability by 65%, promoting increased accuracy with enhanced radial consistency. The G-Core also utilizes our proprietary CT Tenon Technology: a carbon fiber ferrule core which results in greater strength, efficiency and precision. Navigator Black tips feature multiple layers of Japanese pigskin leather that are assembled using a proprietary adhesive. CT Technology – Carbon fiber extends through the shaft wood and into the ferrule with an additional damping device to reduce vibration. This results in a stronger ferrule assembly with maximum impact properties and enhanced feedback. Triple Layer Design The shaft features three distinct layers: wood, carbon fiber and wood, which reduces vibration and minimizes shaft distortion, thereby adding optimal control and accuracy. The pieces are then hand glued to ensure a perfect fit. Wrap is 100% Irish linen which is tightly wound, pressed and then lightly coated to ensure perfect fit, a smooth feel and aids in absorbing hand moisture to ensure a consistent grip. The buttcap is made of an impact resistant resin to aid in protection of the buttsleeve of the cue and is double-bonded by an interchangeable weight bolt system that allows you to adjust the weight. Shafts are hand selected from North American hard rock maple and are carefully picked for straightness of grain, proper moisture content, and white color. Shafts are turned four times to unsure stabilization, straightness. Five coats of a high luster clear urethane finish top off a great looking cue and provide scratch resistance. McDermott Cue Manufacturing will warrant this pool cue to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the entire lifetime of the cue. The warranty applies to all parts, including warpage, and normal wear on replaceable items such as: tip, finish and wrap. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. If your cue has a defect covered by this warranty, McDermott Cue will either repair or replace your cue, at our option, without charge. This warranty will be void if the cue has been subjected to any damage caused by abuse or mishandling. This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original owner, provided the claim is accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt from an authorized McDermott dealer.
