This work is a work of famous ceramist Tetsuaki Nakao of Saga Prefecture (refer to the website of MAGOKORODO for ceramists’ detailed information). Mr. Nakao who has got high evaluation and praise all over the world is making the works using the very beautiful crystal glaze named “GINGA-YUU / Galaxy glaze.” * Cannot buy in Japan Mr.Nakao’s Teabowl for practice which MAGOKORODO sells. Since Mr. Nakao is doing the Enshu style and the contract, he can sell only A-class tea-things for private exhibitions in Japan. The Teabowls of the low price which MAGOKORODO is dealing with for these reasons are called “the Teabowl for practice”, or “KAZU-CHAWAN”, and these cannot be sold in Japan. MAGOKORODO contracted with Mr. Nakao, on condition that it did not sell in Japan. The price of the market price of Mr. Nakao’s A-class formal Teabowls is 500,000 yen from 180,000 yen. This work is FUYU-GINGA-YUU HIRA CHAWAN (winter Galaxy glaze powdered-green-tea Teabowl, HIRA type). Since the temperature of a HIRA Teabowl of hot water cools easily, it is a Teabowl mainly used for a summer. Beautiful winter Galaxy glaze which makes a snowy crystal and Stardust consider is used for this work. The result which he has studied for years is condensed by the work. The result of the crystal glaze which he has done research and development in for years in this work is condensed by the work. Tetsuaki Nakao’s ceramist mark is sealed by the work bottom. The storage box made from a paulownia (SHIHO-ZAN, with strings) in which a ceramist’s autograph signature was written, the sealed cloth, and the guide in which Mr. Nakao’s history was written are attached to this work. This storage box is also the highly complete handicraft made by the special storage box craftsman. This work is a very good condition also without a crack and a chip in a new article. All the works are the secured ceramics in which I visited kiln directly, and gave and did direct buying of the explanation from the ceramist.
