Wild West Exodus – Dark Nation Posse Set Summary: Set of unpainted miniatures for Wild West Exodus. Wild West Exodus is a miniatures game played by 2 to 4 players in control of the faction of their choice. In the world of WWX, every model has the potential to be a hero or a villain. The game mechanics and rule set feature exciting game play from the first dice roll. Each player will be allowed to field a posse of 3 to 40 models. The WWX rules have been designed to allow for scaling of the game to high or low model counts while maintaining a dynamic and fast-paced game tempo. In the twilight years of the Nineteenth Century, mankind is perched upon a new age of discovery and enlightenment. But beneath the hope and optimism, a rising darkness taints the air, touching the heart of every man, woman, and child. The United States has clawed its way out of a terrible civil war, but the wounds are deep. The nation finds itself poised on the edge of ruin, the agony of division eating at its very marrow. Into this dark time a light of hope emerges, carried from the Old World by Dr. Burson Carpathian, scientist, visionary, and would-be savior. But Dr. Carpathian, too, follows a path laid out for him by the darkest of powers: a force of remorseless corruption. The Dark Council. Under the influence of these mysterious strangers, the men and women of this terrible new age struggle with every fiber of their being, clawing for the least scrap of victory. There is no certain future as a continent is torn apart, each isolated faction struggling to maintain their share of power beneath the gathering darkness. Wild West Exodus is a dynamic, fast-paced semi-skirmish game in a world very much like our own, but twisted by the forces of deepest evil. An advanced D10 system is coupled with an innovative Influence mechanic to simulate the powers of the Dark Council upon their unwitting pawns. Players must choose how they will gamble with the power of their patrons: spread the Influence throughout a turn, hoping to ease destiny onto a brighter path, or hold the influence, to be entirely cast upon one roll of the dice? The corruption of Walks Looking was the doorway to the tainting of the Warrior Nation. Ghost Wolf’s daughter became tainted by The Hex and transformed into Wicasasni to become a twisted creature of malice and vengeance. Wicasasni took great delight in warping and corrupting the minds and bodies of her own people, creating a “Dark Nation”. Though Wicasasni was eventually captured by Ghost Wolf and the tainted aspect driven out, the wraith-like creature that emerged was just as deadly and even more malevolent than before. Walks Looking returned to her people with half a soul, the other half now sustaining her darker aspect that had been given independence in the exorcism. While Wicasasni can no longer warp the flesh of her followers she is still surrounded by twisted men and women who are the product of her previous corrupting influence. Khali, Camazotz, Seke and Nizhoni now work with Wicasasni and together the Dark Nation will tear down the world of humanity and remake it in their own image.
