1957 1958 Chrysler Hemi 392 6 x2 Intake Manifold Weiand Drag Star Stromberg 97s1) These parts were taken off a gentlemans hot in the early 1970’s at the time there was nothing wrong with them he had built his 32 Ford and installed a 392 Chrysler Hemi in 1959. In the 1970’s he changed over to running a 2×4 set up which as of this listing is still on his 32′ The gentle man is in his late 80’s. 2) He stated these had been just sitting in a cardboard box in his garage and over the years if a buddy needed a part, it got taken off. The set up has some of the linkages but is missing some also, see pics. 3) In the photos where where it is highlighted is where cross over hose goes, I stuck a socket extension in to take some photos, my extension it is not included in the sale. I have seen these with black hose, stainless braided hose, colored silicone hose, etc… You put in what you like. 4) All of the Stromberg linkages move freely but are not what I would deem sloppy. He had said his “mill” was running just fine he just wanted to put on the 2×4 intake. That being said after sitting for about 50 years I would assume the Strombergs need to have a rebuild. 5) 4 of 6 fuel nipple fittings were on them so they are included. 6) I will take the carbs off the intakes for shipping but I will letter them ABCDEF so you will know what there original positions were on the intake. 7) This this is no light weight, just the parts alone without packaging weighs 38 lbs 4oz. All will be well packaged for shipping unless you want to pick up in person. I offer different shippers so look and choose the best one for you. 8) This is a RARE set-up for this engine.
