I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I have to reluctantly part with some of my collection. The Jagdpanther was an absolute beast of an AFV. Fortunately, not many were built before the factories were captured by the advancing Allies. Rye Field Model is a relatively new company that has exploded onto the scene with stunning kits packed with details and features. This Jagdpanther G2 has a fully detailed interior and ammunition load, so they provided a clear “roof” that lets you see what you worked so hard on. I imagine that you could always lift off the top half of the hull to get a better look, too. There are about a dozen listings for this kit on eBay (almost all from Asia and Europe), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you very quickly. Here is some of the info I found from around the web about this stunning kit: The Rye Field Models site has a page with spectacular photos of the box art and portions of a painted model showing off the copious interior detail. There is a link to download the complete full-color 44-page Instruction Set and Painting Guide, but unfortunately, there is not much information about the kit or the Jagdpanther in general. The page provides a link to download the complete 44-page full-color Instruction Set and Painting Guide along with plenty of links to reviews, resources and many galleries of photos of completed Jagdpanther projects. Mark did a very illuminating In-Box Review on the archive.armorama.com site. He gives some history of the Jagdpanther and then delivers several dozen high-resolution photos of the impressive kit contents. He explains which parts are new for this kit and which ones are the same as earlier Panther kits. The best thing is when he goes through the construction sequence and clarifies the steps. He loved the kit, especially for experienced modelers and listed the highlights as: “A very detailed interior is represented. Clear roof part is very nicely molded. Individual shells allow the builder to display a load-out to their taste. Optional parts for diorama use.” florymodels published a 23-minute Unboxing Review on YouTube that gives you a great view of the kit contents. After walking through the instructions, all 19 sprues are run by the camera, along with the PE parts, metal wire and decals. He provides running commentary throughout and had very nice things to say about every aspect of this kit. There is a similar review in German on YouTube by Modellbau-Koenig that takes you through the kit in about 23 minutes. You can watch one being built on a Build Log by BlackMax12 on the britmodeller.com forum site. He gives you quite a few tips to help smooth out your build. This kit is in a large, sturdy box about 15” x 9.5” x 5.5”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with tape strips, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit of the lethal Jagdpanther tank with full interior detail made up of hundreds of beige plastic parts, 190 individual working track links, clear parts (including the casement roof), 2 frets of photo etched metal parts, 2 metal wires, a full set of decals and much more.
